As part of raising awareness and support for our seniors, New Wave Home Care highly values the importance of educational resources. Last week, New Wave Home Care partnered with Stepping Stones Program to host an educational luncheon for senior citizens. Friday’s luncheon, which was held at the USC Verdugo Hills Hospital in Glendale, CA, hosted elderly individuals from the San Fernando and San Gabriel Valleys. At the luncheon, we covered useful information on topics of senior health and wellbeing.

The Stepping Stones Learning Center serves the San Gabriel Valley and Pasadena area, providing academic guidance and tutoring to students. With the help of Stepping Stones, we were able to provide invaluable educational information to participants at our luncheon. As an organization aiming to support our community’s seniors, we were overjoyed to host this event. We feel that educating our aging population is extremely important, and we look forward to hosting more educational events for seniors in the near future.
