New Wave Home Care recently attended a “Business After Hours” event held at the Glendale Chamber of Commerce (September 18, 2019). This monthly event, held in conjunction with a valued chamber member, is designed to provide the opportunity for both members and their guests to come together in a relaxed atmosphere for the purpose of exchanging ideas and forming strategic alliances with other local businesses, community organizations, volunteer groups, etc.

Now you may ask, “Why tell me?” The answer is
simple. No business or service entity lives in a vacuum. Our presence at these
meetings enables us to make connections with other professionals in the senior
care community, thereby raising our awareness of other resources available to
seniors. Plus, we get cookies and coffee.

By remaining focused solely only on what we do,
NWHC would miss out on not only the broadening perspective of others, but also
the ways in which their services and products may be of direct benefit to our
clients. In fact, a common occurrence at Chamber of Commerce business-to-business
meetings is the exchange of referrals, which often come with discounts, thus providing
an immediate benefit to those living on a fixed income.

Building relationships throughout the community
is a vital component of New Wave Home Care’s mission to continually expand our
ability to enable our seniors to experience the aging process with as much
dignity and comfort as humanly possible. It’s a true honor to be considered by
the Glendale Chamber of Commerce as one of the leading home care companies in their
community. Of the many border cities we work closely with to provide continuity
of care throughout LA county, we look forward to returning to the Glendale Chamber
again and again.
