This special event will feature a keynote address by Dr. Mitzi Gonzales, an esteemed expert in Alzheimer’s and memory disorders. Dr. Gonzales is the acting Associate Professor and Director of Translational Research for the Jona Goldrich Center for Alzheimer’s and Memory Disorders at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Dr. Gonzales brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in neurodegenerative disorders, with her work focusing on the mechanisms of aging and Alzheimer’s disease. During her talk, titled “Aging and Alzheimer’s Disease: A Potential Therapeutic Path,” she will share insights into the overlap between biological aging and dementia, as well as emerging therapeutic strategies aimed at mitigating cognitive decline.
